Join us next Father’s Day for our epic challenge of walking 50 miles in under 24 hours in the Peak District – anyone is welcome!
The walk
A 50 mile walk in the Peak District National Park including an elevation gain of 1,089m (equivalent to the height of England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike).
ROUTE details
The route ends at Hope in the stunning Hope Valley and traverses the wild eastern edges of the Peak District before it descends to the lush green pastures of Chatsworth House. Covering both the Dark Peak and the White Peak provides a wonderful perspective of Britain’s first national park all in one day.

Details
Cost
The cost to participate in Finding Hope in the Wilderness is £95 per person and £70 for a student / Under 18, which covers the costs of logistical support during the challenge. This is paid directly to our partner Will4Adventure.
Fundraising
All participants are expected to raise at least £1000 in sponsorship. Fundraising advice will be provided. Most fundraisers found it’s much easier than they thought to raise £1000 (with the average per person in the last 3 years >£2000).

Use of Funds
All funds raised by this challenge will go directly to support the expansion of Chapter2s work to write hope into the fatherless story.
The real challenge
Chapter2 has a growing waiting list of boys in Reading who have no contact with their dad and need a male mentor. Chapter2 is aiming to raise £100K to expand its operations to meet this growing demand.
